What happened to movie-web.app?
The original public movie-web.app demo was reported shut down in February 2024. An old bookmark to that address is therefore not proof of a currently working homepage. The contemporary report includes a screenshot of the original search results. Read the dated report.
What does “instance” mean?
An instance is a separately hosted version. It may differ in catalog, features or maintenance. A similar address, a purple interface or the word official in a search result does not establish shared operation. This catalog does not claim to be the original demo’s operator.
Mirrors, proxies and unblocked searches
Those terms are often used interchangeably in old discussions, although they do not mean the same thing. A mirror suggests another copy of a site; a proxy sits between a browser and another destination. Neither label tells you whether your bookmarks or account belong there. This page is not a live list of verified mirrors, and it does not automatically send you to a new address.
Return to the title, not a broken deep link
If Home opens but an old movie link does not, search the production’s name and year. Keep a list backup before moving browsers or website addresses. Browser storage is normally tied to an address, so an empty list on another site does not mean the original list was erased.
